ITF satisfied with “Pakistan’s security plans” as India advices more checks for Davis cup tie2 min read

ITF stands for International Tennis Federation. The International Tennis Federation (ITF) is the body that govern world tennis, wheelchair tennis and beach tennis. WTA (Women Tennis Association) and ATP ( Association of Tennis Professional) are the partners of International Tennis Federation to govern professional tennis. And International Tennis Federation satisfied with all the security plans as India advices more check for Davis cup tie.

The chiefs of Tennis is satisfied with all the current safety plans in place for next month’s Davis cup tie is between Pakistan and India held in Islamabad even after the latter asked for another round of security assessment. As we all known the situation between Pakistan and India about occupied Kashmir. As Pakistan expelled India’s ambassador last week and also suspended all the bilateral trade with it’s neighbor after New Delhi removed special status of occupied Kashmir.

Safety and Security are ITF’s highest priority

As ITF which is International Tennis Federation satisfied with all the security plans of Pakistan. The International Tennis Federation said that ” The highest priority of ITF’s are Safety and Security”.

They also added that:

“We are working closely with the host Nation and independent expert security advisor”

International Tennis Federation is satisfied with their current security assessment of the site and all the plans of security in place. And India Tennis team went to Pakistan last time in 1964 for a Davis cup tie and defeating their hosts 4-0 while Pakistan lost 3-2 their last visit to India in 2006. But ITF is satisfied with all the security pans of Pakistan.

On Monday, in an email to the International Tennis Federation , the chief of AITA Hironmoy Chatterjee said that India is in full confidence to International Tennis Federation, and Pakistan Tennis Federation would organize an Amazing Asia Group 1 tie but they also said more security checks might be in order.

As we are aware of relations between Pakistan and India. And all the things Indian authority do with Jammu and Kashmir. The Davis cup tie is between Pakistan and India held in Islamabad.
