One of the stars of Game of Thrones has a Pakistani look-alike

Pakistani waiter Rozi Khan had never heard of the American Game of Thrones series, nor one of his main characters Tyrion Lannister, until the resemblance between the two men was worth his hour of glory.

Twenty-five-year-old Rozi Khan resembles actor Peter Dinklage, who plays the role of a spiritual and daring noble since the launch of the series in 2010, often stopping him for a photo or selfie.

THAT DOES NOT BOTHER ME. MANY PICTURES OF ME HAVE BEEN TAKEN. THAT’S WHY I BECAME VERY WELL KNOWN EVERYWHERE, HE SAYS

Khan and Dinklage do not only have the same prominent cheekbones, thick beards and wavy hair. They are also the same size: about 1.35 meters.

If the actor has blue eyes when those of the server are brown, if the nose of the American is upright and his skin lighter, Rozi Khan can not move quietly since the photos of the two men, the face side to coast, have invaded social networks.

WHEREVER I GO, SOMEONE ALWAYS SAYS TO ME, ‘SIR, WHO IS THE MAN WITH YOU ON FACEBOOK?'” I ANSWER THAT HE IS MY FRIEND.
“HE LOOKS LIKE YOU.” THEN I SAY HE IS MY BROTHER,
SMILES ROZI KHAN

Game of Thrones won 47 Emmy awards, more than any other series in American television history, including two for Peter Dinklage as best supporting actor (2015 and 2018).

The 49-year-old American actor, almost double his Pakistani look-alike, also delighted in 2012 a Golden Globe, one of the major film awards in the United States.

When the eighth and final season of the cult series kicks off on April 17, Rozi Khan will likely be serving mutton and spinach curries in the restaurant where he works in Rawalpindi, a large city near the capital Islamabad.

THERE IS ALWAYS A CROWD HERE, BUT ATTENDANCE HAS INCREASED BECAUSE OF HIM, SAYS HIS BOSS MALIK ASLAM PERVEZ, WHO DESCRIBES HIM AS A HARD WORKER

WHEN HE TAKES A DAY OFF OR IS SICK, PEOPLE LOOK FOR HIM AND ASK WHERE HE IS. THEY GET ANGRY. THEY LIKE HIM, HE ADDS

Customers have the impression of being served by a Tyrion Lannister in the flesh.

WHEN I SEE HIM, I AM HAPPY. I FEEL LIKE I’VE MET THE REAL LANNISTER, “SAYS THE CUSTOMER ZAIN HADRI.

Game of Thrones , a medieval and fantastic series, tells in its first season the story of noble families fighting for control of the Iron Throne. Tyrion, despised by his family, is nicknamed “demonic monkey”, “the gnome” or “Half-man”.

Born in Mansehra, in northern Pakistan, Khan would like to meet Dinklage.

HE’S MY SIZE, HE SAYS,
“SO I LIKE HIM A LOT.”
